Herbert Goes to Traveling

Hi!  Its me Herbert!  I've recently had the opportunity to visit one of the other corporate offices.  The guy I work with shoved me in a box and sent me by inter-company mail to another site.  What fun!

 I met some new friends while I was visiting my new pal Patty.  Actually, the Snuggle bears are very creepy.

 I remember the good old days traveling to Chicago.  Patty let me call up the blog and relieve some old times.

 There is nothing scarier than the lunch room refrigerator.  The sign on the door says "please don't eat someone else's lunch."  Like that is going to stop a hungry gnome!

 Getting a soda requires a bit more ingenuity.  A few rulers, some boxes and a waiver from Osha...and I'm in the machine!

 Wow!  Look at all the bags of potato chips!   And Snickers bars!  This must be heaven!  Hey...wait a minute.  How do I get out of here?  Quick...somebody put in a dollar and hit G1.

 I'm free!  Got to carry my favorite chips with me.

Happiness is a good lunch with friends.  Unfortunately this person only brought healthy stuff.  Where can I get a burger around here?

I'm back on my way to the corporate office.  See you when I get there!

Hard Workin' Herbert

I decided today I'd go to work.  Naturally they made me Chairman of the Board on my first day.  What fun!

Working on the road is not tough at all!  You come in late, leave early, have a two hour lunch and enjoy big, comfy leather chairs.  Everyone brings you coffee and you never have to lift a finger.  I love being on the Board!

Gnomes Love Laptops!

I really love my new laptop.  It is great for reading....contracts!  Why are contracts on my laptop!  And files!  And formulas!  And...and...and....E-MAILS!  Tons of emails...and they want me to....WORK!  Oh no...I didn't sign up for this!  I've got to get out of here!

Let's Order Room Service!

Ah!  This is more like it!  There is a comfy chair in my room and a room service menu!  Let's see...filet mignon, french onion soup, and a whole cheesecake.  All for only $219.00 plust tip.  Guess I'll order two.

It's snowing heavily outside...maybe I won't even leave the room tomorrow!

Herbert has a Pointed Head

Everyone at the factory was staring at me today.  And I noticed that they were doing it a lunch time in the mall as well.  Still, I couldn't figure out what it was.  Then it dawned on me....I have a pointed head!  I look like a lawn dart!

My friend the big guy with suitcase said he could help me....so I let him.

Ouch!  Stop pressing the steam button!  I hope I survive this trip.  Traveling is not what I had hoped it would be.

Herbert Lives in Luxury!

After a lovely day at the pool enjoying cocktails and burgers, along with great music, I've finally decided to turn in early.  Nothing like a hot shower before bed!

Hotels are gnome for their hot water!

Nothing like a good hot shower with lots of steam!  It was a nice day today in Chicago, and dinner at Maggianno's was excellent as always.  Time for an early bed.

Ah!  Towel warmers are a Gnome's best friend!

After wrapping up in the towel I turned on the tv and watched movies like I've never seen before!  Batman was superb!  Not sure the guy that I'm traveling with is going to like the charges I ran up.

Herbert goes to Chicago!

In fear of being recaptured by the evil ones....I have fled the state.  After jumping in some guy's luggage and going through several airports, I've found myself in Chicago!

There's nothing like a Hampton Inn bed to make you feel at Gnome!

I'm safe here in Chicago.  They won't be able to find me.  Now...how do I get to the local sports bar?  Just have to see the Lakers play tonight!

Herbert Skis Alta!

The first thing I wanted to do Saturday was get out and enjoy the great outdoors!  We've had a little fresh powder here in Utah so I headed to the lopes.

It feels great to have the wind on my face and to work up a little Gnome sweat!

I spent a wonder amount of time going down the double black diamonds, then enjoying the fireplace and a hot cider.  I'm so glad to be free!

Herbert the Gnome Escapes!

Being held against my will by 15 women in a corporate tower for over a year, I have finally escaped.  Since January 11, of 2011 I've been kept prisoner by them and forced to sit on their desks and be a "pet" of sorts.  Well no more!  I'm free!

The Dream of Freedom!  I want to be Gnome-madic!

Someone felt pity for me and cut my ribbons of bondage (literally) and set me loose on the world.  So Herbert the Gnome is grabbing the first plane he can and leaving this terrible place.
